Blair Castle Horse Trials

Blair Athol in the Scottish Highlands is home to the Blair Castle FEI Horse Trials (Three Day Event)

To the rear of the castle a cross country fence can be seen amongst good pasture land in the days before the event.

However rain overnight and horses hooves turn the pasture to mud in the dressage warm up area.

The purchase of gumboots seemed essential but which colour.

It was however better out on the cross country the next day.

The course was an excellent balance of well built and presented fences.
